1908 yılında ilan edilen II. Meşrutiyet pek çok alanda olduğu gibi basın dünyasının da özgür bir
ortama kavuşmasını sağlamıştır. Meşrutiyet ile birlikte ortaya atılan hürriyet naraları en çok
gazete sütunlarında yer bulmuş, bu yazı ve makalelerin altına da Osmanlı subayları imzalarını
atmışlardır. Sürekli tenkit edilmelerine rağmen siyaset ile iç içe olan Osmanlı subayları, II.
Meşrutiyet yıllarında devletin işleyişine her fırsatta müdahil olmuşlardır. Bu çalışmamızda
Meşrutiyet basını ve askerlerin basında kendilerine yer bularak siyasetle meşguliyetleri konusu
üzerinde durulacaktır

Second Constitution which was declared in 1908 has provided the pres world to resume a free
context as well as several other fields. Freedom screams that were raised by the Constitution have
taken place mostly in the paper columns. Ottoman officers have put their signature on these texts
and essays. Although they were criticized permanently, Ottoman officers were familiar with the
politics and they were intervenor to the treatment of the state at every turn in years of
Constitution.In this study, it will be elaborated on the Constitution pres and the officers’
occupation with the politics by means of finding place to them selves at the press.
