Bu çalışmanın amacı, okul kültürünün akademisyenler ve öğrenciler
üzerindeki etkilerinin akademik personelin görüşlerine dayanılarak
değerlendirilmesidir. Çalışma, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum desenine uygun
olarak yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada, katılımcılar amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden
ölçüt örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu; (rumuz)
ilinde görev yapan 12 öğretim görevlisinden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada, veri
toplama aracı olarak, yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Öğretim
görevlilerinin görüşlerine göre okul kültürü akademisyenlerin ve öğrencilerin okula
bağlılığını, kurumdaki iletişimini, motivasyonunu, sorumluluk bilincini, aralarındaki
etkileşimi; öğrencilerin okula bakış açısını, öğrenci başarısını etkilemektedir. Ayrıca
okul kültürünün görülebilen boyutlarının akademisyenlerin ve öğrencilerin
faaliyetlerini etkilediği; okul kültürünün alt boyutlarının genel olarak olumlu
algılandığı ve iletişim boyutunun en önemli boyut olarak görüldüğü sonuçlarına
ulaşılmıştır.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of school culture on
academicians and students with regard to the opinions of the academic staff. The
study is carried out in accordance with the Case study through qualitative research
methods. The participants were determined with the criterion sampling method
which is one of the purposeful sampling methods. The study group of the research is
composed of the 12 academicians serving in the province of (alias). In the study, a
semi-structured interview form was used as data collection tool. According to the
views of academicians, it was found that the school culture had effects on
academicians and students dedication to school, communication in the institution,
motivation, the sense of responsibility, the interaction between them, guidance;
students' point of view on school, success of the students. Furthermore the results
obtained that the visible side of schools affected the activities of academicians and
students; sub-dimensions of school culture perceived generally positive and
communication is seen as the most important dimension.
