Eğitim kurumlarında öğrenme-öğretme süreci hazırlanan programlarla planlanmış süreçtir.
Araştırmalarda Türkiye’deki eğitim kurumlarında temel olan ders araçlarının başında ders kitabı
gelmektedir. Ders kitapları öğrenciye bilgi sunması, sorularla pekiştirmesi, şekil, grafik, tablo
gibi görsel araçlarla konuyu desteklemesi açısından büyük önem taşımaktadır. Araştırma
sürecinde ders kitapları incelendi. Ders kitabı ile ilgili tutum ölçekleri hazırlandı. Bu çalışmada
öğrencilerin ders kitaplarına ilişkin tutumlarını belirleyen likert tipi geçerliliği olan ve güvenilir
bir ölçek geliştirildi. İzmir’de 310 öğrenciye, ölçek uygulandı. Ölçek 11 olumlu, 9 olumsuz, 20
maddelik ve güvenirlik α: 0.971dir. Veriler SPSS 11 programında değerlendirilmiştir. Bu araştırmada,
öğrenci tutumlarının sonuçlarına göre kitapların öğrenmede kalıcı bilgi oluşturmaya yönelik
olması gerçeği görülmektedir.

Learning-teaching in national education associations is a process planned with prepared
programs. According to the researches, books are the main sources for lessons in education
associations in Turkey. Books for lessons are very important, because of giving information,
intensifying information with questions, maintaining the topic with visual materials like pictures,
graphs. But existing books have to be appraised and books which have the speciality of being the
main materials for lessons have to be chosen. This study was to develop valid and reliable likert
type scale to measure the students’ attitude toward of biology books. The reliable for the whole
scale was found to be 0.971. The collected data was gathered using and evaluated by SPSS 11
program of this likert type scale. During the research, books being used for education are
examined and measures for attitudes are scale. Scale question was applied to 310 students in
İzmir. In this scale there are 20 items, 11 of which are positive and 9 of which are negative. In this
research, according to the result of student’s attitude, it is understood the fact that the books are
aiming at paving the way for permanent information.
