Simgesel dünyaya davet eden Fransız şair Jean-Pierre Duprey’in simgeler dünyası kendine özgüdür. Okurdan okura değişen anlam katmanlarıyla her bir imgenin bir diğerine götürdüğü zengin bir dünyaya girilir. Simgelerin girift anlamlarıyla karşı karşıya gelen okur, anlamın anlamı ürettiği bu dünyada yolunu kaybeder. Duprey’in dizelerinde cisimler canlanır. Bu cisimler insan-hayvan-nesne-doğa şeklinde bir bütün oluşturur. Birbirinin içine geçmiş bu bütüncede hissedilen koyu karamsarlıktır. İçine düştüğü ümitsizlik denizinde boğulan şair çıkış yolu olarak sanata tutunur. Kelimeler dünyasından kendine yeni bir dünya inşa eder. Duprey’in şiirlerinde resim ve heykelin izlerinin olduğu çok boyutlu sürrealist bir dünyayla karşılaşılır. Renkleriyle, şekilleriyle, tınısıyla bu evren çok katmanlı yapısıyla çoklu yorumlara alan açar. Gerçek dünyanın malzemesini kendine göre biçimlendiren şair dünya gerçekliğiyle uyuşmayan bileşimleri bir araya getirerek hayvanın, insanın, bitkinin, doğanın birbiriyle tuhaf ilişkisi üzerine oturttuğu dizeleriyle farklı bir gerçekliğin kapılarını aralar. Yaratıcılık sınırlarını sonuna kadar kullanan şair, derinliklerinden yansıyanları kendi tarzında birleştirerek fantastik bir dünya inşa eder. İlgisiz görünen şeyleri yan yana getirerek özgün ve özgür eserler veren Duprey kendine has bir yaratım ortaya koyar. Amaç bu yaratımı açımlamak ve ışık tutmaktır. Bu çalışmada Jean-Pierre Duprey’in Kendi Kopyasının Ardında adlı eseri eklektik yöntemle sürrealist, sembolist, fantastik kuram ışığı altında incelenmiştir.

The world of symbols in French poet Jean-Pierre Duprey’s work, which invites readers into a symbolic realm, is unique to him. With layers of meaning that vary from reader to reader, each image leads into a rich world of its own. The objects that come to life in Duprey’s lines form a whole in the shape of human-animal-object-nature. It is the dark pessimism that is felt in this intertwined whole. The poet, drowning in the sea of despair he has fallen into, clings to art as a way out. In Duprey's poems, we encounter a multi-dimensional surrealist world with traces of art and sculpture. With its colors, shapes and tones, this universe creates a space for multiple interpretations with its multi-layered structure. The poet, who shapes the material of the real world according to their own vision, reveals a different reality by bringing together combinations that do not conform to the reality of the world. The aim of this study is to reveal and shed light on the inner world and creativity of Duprey.
