Endüstrinin ve ilgili sektörlerin nitelikli eleman ihtiyacını karşılaşmak üzere kurulan meslek yüksekokulları (MYO), teknik
bilimler, sosyal bilimler ve sağlık bilimleri gibi alanlarda eğitim öğretim vermektedir. Farklı disiplinlere göre eğitim alan
meslek yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin okullarından olan beklentileri de farklı olabilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, Hacettepe
Üniversitesine bağlı eğitim faaliyetleri gerçekleştiren Teknik Bilimler Meslek Yüksekokulu öğrencileri ile Sosyal Bilimler
Meslek Yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin MYO’dan olan beklentileri incelenmiştir. Çalışmada her iki okulun 2 programında eğitim
gören 2. sınıf öğrencilerine uygulanan anketler değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı: her iki okul öğrencilerinin okullarından
olan beklentilerini belirlemek, beklentilerini karşılaştırılarak, eğitimin verimliliğinin artırılması için önerilerde bulunmaktır.

Vocational schools of higher education which are founded in order to provide qualified employee to industry and related
sector provides education in areas such as technical science, social science, and health science. Students of vocational
school of higher education which receive education in different disciplines may have a variety of different expectations. In
this study, the expectations of the students of Technical Science Vocational School of Higher Education and Social Science
Vocational School of Higher Education from Vocational School of Higher Education are examined. In addition; in this study,
the polls that are conducted to 2nd grade students receiving education from both schools and both programs are
evaluated.
Aim of the study is to make suggestions to improve the success rate of both schools’ students by comparing the student
satisfaction and academic standings.
