Makale Özeti: Application of the model TGTand GI on the concept digestive system food in the classVIII B SMPN 1 Paringin expected to increase activing and students learning outcomes. The aims of research is also to increase the activity of the teacher and the students response to the learning model TGT and GI. The type of research that used is type of classroom action research. This research consists of two cycles, each cycle consisting of two session with activity planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subject of thisresearch is from the students in the class VIII B SMPN 1 Paringin. Totally, there were20 students involved on this study. The results of the research showed teacher activity increased from fist cycle 94% to 96,25% on the second cycle in the category of very good, students learning activity experience increased in first cycle on the learning model TGT amounting to 77% snd the learning model GI amounting to 75,84% where in second cycle the learning model TGT amounting to 95% and the learning model GI 96%. Students learning outcomes will also experience increased from action, the average results of the learn first cycle amounting to 68,25% and in second cycle amounting to 98,95% with KKM 76. While in classical expected 85% of students complete can also be achieved, it can be seen on the first cycle amounting to 70% and on second cycle has reached 90%. Students respon gave a positive.
