ALKOLLÜ İÇECEKLER TÜKETİMİNE YÖNELİK BİR SAHA ARAŞTIRMASI: TRAKYA BÖLGESİ ÖRNEĞİ

The social harms of alcohol consuption lead the governments to take several measures related to alcohol consumption. Increasing of tax rates causes positive or negative effects on the prices and consumption of products. In this context, alcohol products are very important. This study’s main aim is to conduct a field researh on consumption of alcohol products in the thrace region. In this study, the region persons’ consumption and consumption choices related to alcohol products and taxes-consumption relationship are investigated through a field research. The findings derived a field researh can provide several implications about tax policy in Turkey.

Alkollü içecek tüketiminin neden olduğu toplumsal zararlar, devletleri bu ürünlerin tüketimine yönelik bir dizi tedbirler almaya yöneltmektedir. Bu kapsamda devletlerce alkollü içecek tüketiminin azaltılmasına yönelik arttırılan vergi oranları ürünlerin fiyatını arttırmasına rağmen bir takım olumsuz etkileri de beraberinde getirmektedir. Bu etkiler arasında kaçak alkolü içecek tüketimi ilk sırada yer almaktadır. Bu çalışmada Trakya bölgesindeki bireylerin alkollü içecek tüketimi, tüketim tercihi ve verginin tüketim ilişkisi üzerindeki etkilerinin ortaya çıkarılmasına yönelik gerçekleştirilen saha araştırması sonuçlarına yer verilecektir.
