The article describes the approaches of the scientists of the world to the definition of «internal audit» and «internal control», investigated the mechanism of organization and internal audit in enterprises, institutions and organizations of Ukraine.

В статті розглянуто підходи провідних вчених світу до визначення понять «внутрішній аудит» та «внутрішній контроль», досліджено механізм організації та проведення внутрішнього аудиту на підприємствах, в установах та організаціях України.
