The Essence of the Concept “Ethno-Pedagogical Competence”

Для выявления сущности понятия «этнопедагогическая компетентность»
и определения степени разработанности исследуемой нами проблемы, мы предприняли
анализ психолого-педагогической литературы, в которой этнопедагогическая
компетентность как научно-теоретическая проблема раскрывается в рамках
этнопедагогических концепций и связана с развитием этнопедагогики.
Методологической основой для данного утверждения являются исследования
Кожахметовой К.Ж., в которых ученый последовательно раскрывает соотношение
педагогики, этнопедагогики и казахской этнопедагогики через градацию, «где педагогика –
общее, ее законы действуют и на область этнопедагогики; этнопедагогика – особенное, то
есть в ней вычленяется этнический специфический аспект, а казахская этнопедагогика –единичное, которое образовалось за счет своеобразия этнической культуры, выражающееся
в языке, традициях, обычаях, обрядах, религии» [1, 149-150].

The paper discloses the nature and content of the notion ―ethno-pedagogical
competence‖, based on a study of scientific works of Russian and foreign researchers. The analysis
of these works shows that ethno-pedagogical competence as a scientific and pedagogical problem is
disclosed in the ethno-pedagogical concept and is associated with the development of ethnopedagogical
science. The article presents an analysis of the definitions of ―ethno-pedagogical
competence‖ by several scientists; it discloses the driving conditions of the development of ethnopedagogical
competence in modern pedagogical science. The necessity of forming ethnopedagogical
competences as part of the training process of the future teachers at the university has
been proven. The article defines more precisely the notion of ―ethno-pedagogical competence of
future teachers‖, which is considered to be a set of integrative professionally significant personal
qualities, contributing to the implementation of ethno-pedagogical knowledge, skills and
professional experience in the conditions of a multi-ethnic educational environment.
