BOLU İLİNDEKİ İŞVERENLERİN ENGELLİ ÇALIŞANLARA YÖNELİK TUTUMLARI

The aim of this study is to determine the attitudes of the employers towards the employees
with disabilities. Study was realized with the survey model. The study domain consists of
194 employers at Bolu Province. Scale for attitude of employers towards employees with
disabilities, developed by Akardere, has been applied on 194 volunteer employers by special
education teacher candidates in the study conducted with the survey model, and the data has
been analyzed with the use of t test and Anova. As a result of the study, it has been found that
the attitudes of employers towards employees are at a medium level; that said attitude varied
based on the variable of having a relative with disability while the attitude did not differ by
the variables of gender, age, education level, sector of employment, term of employment and
disability situation. It is recommended that support of career and work coaches should be
obtained to change the attitudes of the employers; and

Bu araştırmanın amacı işverenlerin engelli çalışanlara yönelik tutumlarını belirlemektir.
Tarama modelindeki araştırmada Akardere (2005) tarafından geliştirilen işverenlerin engelli
çalışanlarına yönelik tutum ölçeği 194 gönüllü işverene özel eğitim öğretmen adaylarınca
uygulanarak; veriler t testi ve Anova kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir.Araştırmanın sonucunda
işverenlerin engelli çalışanlarına yönelik tutumları orta düzeyde bulunmuş; bu tutumların
işverenlerin engelli yakını olma durumuna göre farklılaşırken; cinsiyet, yaş, eğitim düzeyi,
çalıştığı sektör, çalışma süresi ve engelli olma durumuna göre farklılaşmadığı görülmüştür
.İşverenlerin tutumlarının değişmesi için kariyer ve iş koçlarından destek alınması; ileri
araştırmalarda büyük şehirlerde büyük çaplı işyerlerinde araştırmanın gerçekleştirilmesi
önerilmektedir.
