DEVELOPMENT OF GENERIC AND SUBJECT-SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES WHILE TEACHING ENGLISH FOR PROFESSIONAL PURPOSES

This article gives a brief overview of competence-based education. The author presents the way of development of generic and subject-specific competencies based on the lesson plan for English for professional purposes.
