Dergi Hakkında : The collection was officially registered in 2015, certificate KV-21596-11496R.
Сo-founders were the public scientific organization “Ukrainian Assembly of Doctors of Sciences in Public Administration” and a higher educational institution Interregional Academy of Personnel Management.
In November 2015, the first issue of the collection «Public management» was published. The collection was assigned the International Standard Serial Number ISSN 2414-0562 and electronic ISSN: 2617-2224 (E).
The main sections of the collection:
theory and history of public administration;
public service;
mechanisms of public administration;
regional management and local government;
social and humanitarian policies;
research, development, projects.
In order to enhance the cognitive and publication activities of the collection «Public management» he is included to the international Scientometrics database Index Copernicus International (ICV 2017 of collection = 76.39), ResearchBib, РИНЦ, КиберЛенинка, to the search system Google Scholar, also it was included in the abstract database «Україніка наукова» and in the Ukrainian abstract journal «Джерело» ( Series 3. Social and Human Sciences. Arts).
The collection included in the list of scientific professional edition from Public Administration (Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine from 10.05.2017 № 693).
According to the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated November 7, 2018, No. 1218, the collection “Public management” is included in the List of printed periodicals, which are included in the List of scientific professional editions of Ukraine, which have been assigned the category “B”.
According to the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine “On Approval of the Procedure for the Formation of the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine” dated January 15, 2018, No. 32 from January2018, all articles in the collection are assigned an identifier of a digital object for indexing scientific articles of the DOI. This not only raises the publication activity of the collection, but also expands its ability to be represented in the well-known science-computer databases of Web of Science, Scopus.
The collection is published with the active support of the Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe, the National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service Affairs, the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, scientists and professors of higher education institutions and employees of leading research institutes of public administration. The editorial board is formed from the curators of individual sections, in accordance with the professional orientation of each scholar. The editorial board of the collection includes about 60 doctors of sciences from Ukraine, Poland, Georgia, Canada, Latvia, Slovakia and Bulgaria.
In accordance with the requirements of SCOPUS, Web of Science and objectively evaluation of the quality of articles submitted for publication in the collection “Public management”, the Regulations from the questions of internal review of print media publication “Public management” was approved and composition of the Expert Commission from the questions of internal review of print media publication “Public management” was ensured (Protocol № 1 from11.02.2016 of the Meeting of the co-founders of print media publication “Public management”).
Also, with the purpose of supporting of policies aimed on the compliance of the principles of international standards of publication ethics – COPE Code of Conduct, approved by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics), Regulations about publishing ethics and unfair publishing practice of the print media publication “Public management” was approved and the Commission from the questions of publishing ethics and unfair publishing practices of the printed media collection “Public management” was established (Protocol № 1 from 11.02.2016 of the Meeting of the co-founders of print media publication “Public management”).
Since 2017 the collection has been published in two languages: in printed version in English, and in electronic version in Ukrainian (on the website of the public scientific organization “Ukrainian Assembly of Doctors of Sciences in Public Administration” http://vadnd.org.ua/ua/ Collection /). This gives a real opportunity for Ukrainian scientists and teachers to publish their scientific, practical and research articles in English, which they use to communicate more than 1.3 billion people. Currently, there are no such mass media in the field of science “Public Administration” in Ukraine.
In addition, the publication of the media in English makes it possible to include the collection “Public Administration” in such authoritative world science-based, bibliographic and reference databases as SciVerse Scopus and Web of Science. And again none of the domestic profile in the state management of the media has yet entered into these bases. At present, the collection is under constant monitoring by the Web of Science database, SciVerse Scopus database, which gives hope officially enter in thes bases.
For today, in the collection about 500 current scientific articles published, the circulation of each issue reaches 300 copies.
Compulsorily, the collection is sent to all authors, dispatch to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Administration of the President of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service, other central government bodies, regional state administrations, leading libraries and higher educational institutions of Ukraine.
