Makale Özeti:

It has been four years since the first publication of our journal. The current
spring issue includes absorbing and highly scientific researches, articles,
reviews and interviews based on different methods and views. The increase of
interest in our journal pleases us. On the other hand; some regulations and
restrictions have been inevitable with the purpose of maintaining the quality
standard and publishing the accepted papers in a fast way. We owe Editorial
Review Board and our colleagues in Editorial Assistance a debt of gratitude for
their great endeavors. We also feel happy to announce that our journal has
started field editor system as of this issue. Moreover, it is a pleasure to inform
you that our journal has been a part of ULAKBİM TR index since 2015,
December. In this regard, we have made some changes in stylistic contents.
There has been an enormous increase the number of the articles. Whereas some
of the articles have not been published because of the reviews of the referees,
others have not been published because of the limited page numbers, so they
have been kept to be published in the next issue. The number of the accepted
articles in the current issue is more when compared to the previous issues.
There are twenty-nine researches-reviews in total comprised of eight in
linguistics, seven in literature, six in sociology, three in geography, two in
history, two in arts, and one in archeology. In addition to these, there are one
interview and two book reviews. Twenty of these researches-reviews are in
Turkish, six in English, four in French and two are in German.
In the field of archeology, Seher Selin Özmen, in her article the Cult of Mother
Goddess Kybele in Anatolia suggests that Mother Goddess Cybele Cult has
aroused an interest in interdisciplinary areas, such as history of religion,
linguistics, psychology and philosophy besides archaeology, and has been the
subject of too many scientific researches since the 20th century.
